PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING

Mental Health designs and builds can be a challenging and difficult process with numerous policies, guidelines, WHS, and clinical issues that require consideration above and beyond what other facilities require. MHDS specialises in assisting Architectural Firms, Infrastructure, Project Management firms, and Local Health Districts to achieve a fit for purpose facility from the concept brief phase right through to commissioning and turn key operation. Whether it be stakeholder engagement, functional briefs, change management, benefits planning, workforce planning, design review, design development, or operational policy development, MHDS has the expert knowledge to assist and guide you.

MHDS is a unique business offering rare insights into the actual workings of mental health with the knowledge and expertise of what is required by the staff, consumers, & key stakeholders using the facilities.

MISSION

Building a facility that improves consumer recovery, reduces length of stay, and improves the overall clinical service delivery is paramount. MHDS will collaborate with the consultancy team to define the mission, establish realistic and safe plan, and create an environment in which the desired outcomes can be achieved. The aim is to assist in the delivery of a cutting edge facility using true co-design principles. To support this goal it is imperative to assemble a project team that can leverage it's collective experience and understanding of innovative research and best practices.
